Community events

We welcome any expression of interest and will do our best to facilitate any member of the community wishing to carry out an activity here. We welcome proposals for events and activities which are

• High quality
• Inclusive for all members of our community and participatory where possible.
• Accessible – free of charge, or low cost
• Promoting social cohesion

The process is as follows

1. Send us your initial enquiry and outline using our proposal form
2. We will respond to your enquiry to let you know if your proposed activity is possible, to advise you on the next steps and to request any further detailed information we may need
3. We will work with you to develop your proposal, leading to confirmation of the details and the budget
4. We will make an agreement with you about how we will work together
5. Final plans will be agreed and submitted, and the date of the event confirmed no less than 6 weeks before the event.

Please note that as the above process may take some time, and the final confirmation is no less than 6 weeks before the event, you should allow at least 3 months from your initial enquiry to the date of the event.
